Kolkhorst, Chair, Senate Committee on Health & Human Services     FROM: Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board      IN RE: SB970 by Kolkhorst (Relating to the repeal of certain provisions related to health and human services.), As Introduced     No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would repeal certain provisions of the Education Code and the Health and Safety Code related to health and human services programs. The Comptroller of Public Accounts, the Health and Human Services Commission, the Department of State Health Services, and the Texas Department of Transportation indicated that the provisions of the bill could be implemented within existing resources and would not have a significant fiscal implication.  Local Government ImpactNo fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
