The cost to the state for publication of the resolution is $178,333. The joint resolution would propose a constitutional amendment prohibiting the unsolicited distribution of an application form for an absentee ballot.According to the Office of the Attorney General and the Office of the Secretary of State, any additional work resulting from the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within current resources.
