No. 138 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, The Honorable Robert Hebert is being recognized for his many years of public service and for his contributions as the executive director of Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels at the organization's celebratory gala on October 14, 2021; and WHEREAS, Established in 1974, FBS Meals on Wheels provides nutrition and support services for senior citizens in Fort Bend and Waller Counties; a longtime supporter of the local nonprofit, Bob Hebert was appointed interim chief executive officer in 2019, and since that time, he has worked closely with board and staff members, civic partners, and volunteers to enhance operational efficiencies in order to meet the needs of the community; and WHEREAS, Mr. Hebert served four terms as Fort Bend County judge, from 2003 through 2018; his exemplary record of public service also includes tenures as temporary receiver for the City of Arcola and as city manager of Rosenberg; moreover, he has over 40 years of experience in strategic management and planning, principally through his consulting firm, Robert Hebert and Associates; he holds a master's degree in business administration from Pepperdine University and a doctorate in management from California Coast University; and WHEREAS, Demonstrating exceptional vision, skill, and leadership, Bob Hebert has rendered invaluable service to his fellow citizens, and his myriad achievements indeed merit special recognition; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby commend Robert Hebert for his outstanding contributions to the Fort Bend County community and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Hebert as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
