The bill would require the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) and the Texas Facilities Commission (TFC) to collaborate with the Texas Commission on the Arts (TCA) on a study regarding the leasing of state agency buildings and property for the use of artists for the practice and performance of their arts.According to TCA, the bill would have no significant fiscal impact on the agency.It is presumed that any costs associated with the required studies at THECB and TFC could be absorbed with existing resources.  Local Government ImpactNo significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
