The bill would amend the Election Code to require the Secretary of State (SOS) to conduct a feasibility study relating to central vote counting stations and to prepare a report for the Legislature on the results of the study.  It is assumed that any costs related this study could be absorbed within existing resources.  Local Government ImpactNo significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
