Frank, Chair, House Committee on Human Services     FROM: Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board      IN RE: HB2307 by Hull (Relating to the retention by a managed care organization of certain money recovered as a result of a fraud or abuse investigation under Medicaid or the child health plan program.), As Introduced     No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would allow managed care organizations to retain a portion of money recovered due to an investigation of fraud and abuse. It is assumed that recoveries associated with the bill would be insignificant and costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.
