The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code to exempt certain legal actions to enforce any provision of the Election Code, from the provisions of Chapter 27 of that Code. The bill provides that Chapter 27 does not apply to legal action brought under or to enforce a provision of the Election Code other than a provision of Title 15 of that Code.Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration, the fiscal implications cannot be determined because the extent to which the exemption provided by the bill would impact the state court system is unknown.
