A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to the use of certain lighting equipment on authorized
emergency vehicles.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 547.702, Transportation Code, is amended
by adding Subsection (c-1) to read as follows:
(c-1) An authorized emergency vehicle may be equipped with
signal lamps that display alternating or flashing white lights that
comply with the requirements of Subsections (c)(1) and (3).
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023.
