Methodology Based on information provided by DPS, the Driver License Division would be able to update the necessary application forms and redesign the driver's license and identification certificates utilizing existing resources. The Department of Information Resources provided DPS with an estimate of $6,538,224 in fiscal year 2024 for necessary programming changes to the Texas.gov Texas by Texas' website and mobile application to implement the provisions of the bill. Technology Programming costs for Texas.gov 'Texas by Texas' would total $6,538,224 in fiscal year 2024. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
