 Fiscal Analysis

The bill would establish a task force on the statewide alert systems for abducted children and missing persons with intellectual disabilities.This bill would take effect September 1, 2023.

 Methodology

Based on information provided by TCOLE, an additional FTE would be required to provide administrative duties for the task force. The salaries and benefits for this FTE total $155,857 for the biennium.Other costs in fiscal year 2024 include other personnel, supplies, utilities, travel, rent and other operating expenses that would total $58,681. Other costs for fiscal year 2025 are estimated to be $57,300.
