A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to a centralized telephone service and e-mail directory by
the Department of Information Resources.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 2170.059(d), Government Code, is amended
to read as follows:
(d) Each using entity shall provide an e-mail address
associated with any user of the service to the department upon
request.
(e) The department annually shall prepare and issue a
revised centralized telephone service and e-mail directory not
later than DecemberMarch 31.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023.
