                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD     Austin, Texas       FISCAL NOTE, 88TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION             May 15, 2023       TO: Honorable Charles Schwertner, Chair, Senate Committee on Business & Commerce     FROM: Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board      IN RE: HB3730 by Wilson (Relating to the directory of users of the centralized telephone service for entities in the capitol complex.), As Engrossed     No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would amend Section 2170, Government Code, requiring entities that use the centralized telephone service provided by the Department of Information Resources (DIR) to provide an email address associated with any user of the service to DIR upon request. The bill would require DIR to prepare and issue a revised centralized telephone service and email directory by December 31 of each year.It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.  Local Government ImpactNo fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
