It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.  Local Government ImpactThis bill would require certain districts to employ a life skills counselor but does not appropriate funding for these positions. Districts would be permitted to solicit and accept a gift, grant, or donation from any source. However, if a district is not able to obtain a gift, grant, or donation, the district would be required to pay for the positions with existing funds.
