The bill would amend Transportation Code, Section 201.1056, regarding agreements for services on federal military property, to authorize the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to enter into an agreement with the United States Department of Defense or other federal entity to allow TxDOT to assist with the provision of any TxDOT services for military installations.Based on the information provided by TxDOT, it is assumed any duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within the department's existing resources.
