The fiscal impact would depend on the number and size of events covered under the bill. The bill would amend the Government Code to include certain events as eligible for funding under the Major Events Reimbursement Program. According to the Office of the Governor, the fiscal impact of the bill to the state cannot be determined without information from the event organizers' application. This includes the number of attendees and the duration of the event.  Local Government ImpactNo significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
