RULEMAKING AUTHORITY   This bill does not expressly grant any additional rulemaking authority to a state officer, institution, or agency.   SECTION BY SECTION ANALYSIS   SECTION 1. Amends Section 509.018(e), Government Code, to provide that Section 509.018 (Family Violence Pretrial Diversion Pilot Program) expires September 1, 2027, rather than 2023.   SECTION 2. Effective date: upon passage or September 1, 2023.

H.B. 4333 amends current law relating to the extension of a family violence pretrial diversion pilot program in Bexar County.

SECTION BY SECTION ANALYSIS

 

SECTION 1. Amends Section 509.018(e), Government Code, to provide that Section 509.018 (Family Violence Pretrial Diversion Pilot Program) expires September 1, 2027, rather than 2023.

 

SECTION 2. Effective date: upon passage or September 1, 2023.
