The bill would authorize certain agencies to pay compensation to employees, who are classified in salary groups A12-A17, twice a month (rather than once a month). There could be an acceleration of cash outlays for the agencies who would choose to pay the applicable employees twice a month that would affect the certification balance for the 2024-25 biennium. That amount cannot be estimated but is not expected to be significant.It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.  Local Government ImpactNo fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
