The bill would prohibit the department from moving a child who has been placed in the home of a parent without a hearing except in certain situations. It is assumed any costs to the Office of Court Administration and the Department of Family and Protective Services could be absorbed within existing resources. In addition, no fiscal impact is assumed to the Department of Public Safety, Commission on Law Enforcement, or Juvenile Justice Department.   Local Government ImpactNo fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
