The bill would allow for the public sale, possession, or consumption of alcoholic beverages on property owned or controlled by the museum. Methodology Currently, per Section 445.012 of the Government Code, all money and securities received by the museum are held in the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum Trust Fund 0849, held outside the Treasury. The State Preservation Board estimates the implementation of the bill would result in revenues of $272,219 in fiscal year 2024 with a four percent increase in sales each subsequent fiscal year.
