The bill would amend Transportation Code, Section 502.433, relating to the registration of a commercial motor vehicle as farm vehicle, to require the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) to provide a person registering a vehicle under that section the option of being issued a "Ranch Vehicle" distinguishing license plate.Based on the information provided by TxDMV, it is assumed any costs or duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within the department's existing resources.
