The bill would repeal Transportation Code, Section 504.321, relating to specialty license plates for Commendation Medal recipients, and incorporate the Commendation Medal specialty plate in Section 504.315(c), relating to the Commendation Medal with Valor specialty plate.Based on the analysis provide by the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, it is assumed any costs or duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within the department's existing resources.
