This bill would amend the Insurance Code to require health plans to limit certain prescription drugs for enrollees. This bill would be effective September 1, 2023.Based on the analysis of the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, Employees Retirement System, Department of Insurance, Health and Human Services Commission, and the Texas A&M University System Administrative & General Offices, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.This analysis assumes that the University of Texas System Administration's analysis, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
