H.R. No. 1317
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Chambers County was honored with a 2022 Excellence
in Safety Award from Texas Association of Counties; and
WHEREAS, The Excellence in Safety Award is presented to
member counties and governmental entities that demonstrate a
commitment to developing and improving safety and loss control
programs and to controlling claims costs; honorees, which are
chosen from among participants in the TAC Risk Management Pool
Workers Compensation Program, must fulfill a set of criteria
designed to ensure the efficacy of their workers' safety programs,
policies, and training methods; and
WHEREAS, Recognized for its commitment to implementing and
improving workplace safety measures, Chambers County was one of
only 11 counties across Texas to win a TAC Excellence in Safety
Award for 2022; and
WHEREAS, Safety should be the highest priority of any
organization, and by successfully meeting the criteria outlined by
TAC, Chambers County has set a commendable example for other
communities throughout the state and nation; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Chambers County on its receipt of a
2022 Excellence in Safety Award from the Texas Association of
Counties and extend sincere appreciation to all those who helped
secure this recognition; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Chambers County as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
