 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Family and friends were deeply saddened by the
 passing of Richard Roland LeBrun of Hutto on March 11, 2023, at the
 age of 84; and
 WHEREAS, Born in Lynn, Massachusetts, on April 14, 1938,
 Richard LeBrun was the son of Marion and Roland LeBrun, and he grew
 up in Peabody, Massachusetts, with the companionship of four
 siblings, Judy, Donny, Kenny, and Robert; and
 WHEREAS, Over the course of a varied career, Mr. LeBrun
 worked for the Dori Shoe Factory and the Barrett Building and at the
 Dalton Transfer Station in addition to serving as a handyman; he
 resided in Dalton, New Hampshire, for more than 35 years before
 moving to Texas in 2022; and
 WHEREAS, A gifted singer and guitarist, Mr. LeBrun was a
 founding member of the band, the Half Breeds, and enjoyed
 performing at Revere Beach and the Blue Note Lounge; he was a
 spiritual man and loved spending time in nature, especially in the
 woods of New Hampshire; in his leisure time, he took pleasure in
 reading science fiction and watching movies; and
 WHEREAS, Mr. LeBrun was the proud father of four children,
 Steven, Gary, Christine, and the late David LeBrun, and with the
 passing years, he had the pleasure of welcoming into his family six
 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and
 WHEREAS, Although he will be deeply missed, Richard LeBrun
 has left his loved ones with many cherished memories, and they will
 forever hold him close in their hearts; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Richard Roland LeBrun
 and extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his
 children, Steven LeBrun, Gary LeBrun and his wife, Laurie, and
 Christine Augusto and her husband, Louis; to his siblings, Judy
 Bergeron and her husband, Arthur, Donny LeBrun and his wife, Leda,
 and Kenny LeBrun and his wife, Karen; to his grandchildren, Thomas,
 David, Timothy, and Michael LeBrun, Richard Augusto, and Crystal
 Harbaugh; to his great-grandchildren, Bradley, Alyssa, Vanessa,
 Madeline, Mackenzie, and Maybella LeBrun, and Theodore Harbaugh;
 and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Richard
 LeBrun.
