H.R. No. 1357 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Jason Haug has ably served his fellow Texans as a legislative aide in the office of State Representative Jacey Jetton during the 88th Legislative Session; and WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Haug has provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, including supporting Representative Jetton in his role on the House Appropriations Committee and communicating with constituents; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and WHEREAS, Mr. Haug is currently studying political science with a minor in Spanish at Texas A&M University, where he is expected to graduate in 2024; active in his campus community, he is a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity Eta Upsilon Chapter, and he has also been involved with the Texas A&M Public Policy Internship Program, Century Club, and Sigma Delta Pi Spanish Honor Society; in addition, he has been named to the TAMU dean's list; and WHEREAS, Jason Haug has performed his duties as a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas Legislature hereby commend Jason Haug for his service as a legislative aide in the office of State Representative Jacey Jetton and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Haug as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
