No. 1428 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Larson Crank has ably served his fellow Texans as an intern in the office of State Representative Charles Cunningham during the 88th Legislative Session; and WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Crank has provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of tasks, including conducting legislative research and handling constituent correspondence; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and WHEREAS, The son of Cameron and Leigh Ann Crank, Mr. Crank is currently a freshman at The University of Texas at Austin, where he is working toward a bachelor's degree in history and government with a minor in business and public policy; he is actively involved with the Liberal Arts Honors Program at UT, as well as the Texas Economics Journal, the Texas Orator, the Texas Undergraduate Research Journal, and the Beta Upsilon Chi fraternity; furthermore, he has earned placement on the dean's honor list and has been recognized as a Thomas M. Keel Fund scholar and an R. J. Kidd Memorial scholar; in the future, he plans to attend law school and specialize in public policy; and WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas Legislature hereby commend Larson Crank for his service as a legislative intern in the office of State Representative Charles Cunningham and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Crank as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
