H.R. No. 1504
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Melissa Ann Pantoja received a 2023 Women in
Education Award from the Education Service Center Region 2 at its
Outstanding Women in Education event on March 29; and
WHEREAS, An information systems student specialist with ESC
Region 2, Ms. Pantoja assists district and internal staff with
submitting timely and accurate information to the Texas Education
Agency; in addition, she provides training and support for Ascender
and PEIMS coding throughout the region; and
WHEREAS, Melissa Pantoja has set an outstanding example of
leadership and dedication to which others may aspire, and she is
indeed deserving of this noteworthy honor; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Melissa Ann Pantoja on her receipt
of a 2023 Women in Education Award from the Education Service Center
Region 2 and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success
in her important work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Pantoja as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
