R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Suzanne K. Horine received a 2023 Women in Education
Award from the Education Service Center Region 2 at its Outstanding
Women in Education event on March 29; and
WHEREAS, A food and nutrition specialist with ESC Region 2,
Ms. Horine provides training and technical assistance in the
operation and administration of food and nutrition programs based
on recommendations by the Texas and U.S. Departments of
Agriculture; moreover, she supports child nutrition teams through
operational and culinary assistance, program design, and training
in specific program areas; and
WHEREAS, Suzanne Horine has set an outstanding example of
leadership and dedication to which others may aspire, and she is
indeed deserving of this noteworthy honor; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Suzanne K. Horine on her receipt of
a 2023 Women in Education Award from the Education Service Center
Region 2 and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success
in her important work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Horine as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
