R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Judith Gonzalez-Rodriguez received a 2023 Women in
Education Award from the Education Service Center Region 2 at its
Outstanding Women in Education event on March 29; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Gonzalez-Rodriguez currently serves as an
education specialist and counselor with ESC Region 2, and she works
with the State and Federal Programs team facilitating training and
continuing education for the regional school counselors; she is
widely respected for her compassion and her expertise in school
counseling; and
WHEREAS, Judith Gonzalez-Rodriguez has set an outstanding
example of leadership and dedication to which others may aspire,
and she is indeed deserving of this noteworthy honor; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Judith Gonzalez-Rodriguez on her
receipt of a 2023 Women in Education Award from the Education
Service Center Region 2 and extend to her sincere best wishes for
continued success in her important work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Gonzalez-Rodriguez as an expression of high regard
by the Texas House of Representatives.
