R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Veronica Brotherton received a 2023 Women in
Education Award from the Education Service Center Region 2 at its
Outstanding Women in Education event on March 29; and
WHEREAS, An inclusion specialist in Special Education
Support Services for ESC Region 2, Ms. Brotherton oversees the
inclusive/co-teaching classroom model and is the regional trainer
for the Crisis Prevention Institute and the Treasuring Our
Paraprofessionals program; she is in her fifth year with ESC
Region 2 and is widely respected for her professionalism, content
knowledge, and expertise in special education; and
WHEREAS, Veronica Brotherton has set an outstanding example
of leadership and dedication to which others may aspire, and she is
indeed deserving of this noteworthy honor; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Veronica Brotherton on her receipt
of a 2023 Women in Education Award from the Education Service Center
Region 2 and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success
in her important work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Brotherton as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
