R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Cynthia Cantu received a 2023 Women in Education
Award from the Education Service Center Region 2 at its Outstanding
Women in Education event on March 29; and
WHEREAS, A math specialist at ESC Region 2, Ms. Cantu
provides invaluable mentorship to her fellow educators and has
supported a number of campuses and school districts; she is in her
10th year with Region 2 and is widely respected for her commitment,
work ethic, and extensive knowledge and skill set; and
WHEREAS, Cynthia Cantu has set an outstanding example of
leadership and dedication to which others may aspire, and she is
indeed deserving of this noteworthy honor; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Cynthia Cantu on her receipt of a
2023 Women in Education Award from the Education Service Center
Region 2 and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success
in her important work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Cantu as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
