 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Corpus Christi Independent School District trustee
 Dolly Gonzales Trolley received a 2023 Women in Education Award
 from the Education Service Center Region 2 at its Outstanding Women
 in Education event on March 29; and
 WHEREAS, Appointed to the school board in January 2021,
 Mrs. Trolley was returned to office in the November 2022 election
 and currently serves as board secretary; renowned as a steadfast
 advocate for students, she works tirelessly to engage and
 collaborate with parents in an effort to further the district's
 educational mission; and
 WHEREAS, Mrs. Trolley holds a bachelor's degree from
 Stephen F. Austin State University and has two decades of
 experience working as a fundraising consultant; she gives
 generously of her time to numerous organizations within the Corpus
 Christi community and has been actively involved in several PTA
 groups over the years; and
 WHEREAS, Dolly Gonzales Trolley has set an outstanding
 example of leadership and dedication to which others may aspire,
 and she is indeed deserving of this noteworthy honor; now,
 therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Dolly Gonzales Trolley on her
 receipt of a 2023 Women in Education Award from the Education
 Service Center Region 2 and extend to her sincere best wishes for
 continued success in her important work; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Mrs. Trolley as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
