R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The Royse City Chamber of Commerce is celebrating
its 30th anniversary on May 16, 2023; and
WHEREAS, Since its inception, the Royse City Chamber of
Commerce has served as a bridge between local businesses and the
wider community, and it has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to
improving the quality of life for area residents while contributing
to the prosperity of the local economy; today, the organization
represents a robust network of member businesses, and it benefits
from the able leadership of its president and CEO, Ashlee Burke; and
WHEREAS, The Royse City Chamber offers a variety of services
and initiatives to help businesses achieve their goals; the
organization's networking opportunities include membership
luncheons and Business After Hours events, and the chamber sponsors
a number of other popular gatherings, such as Casino Night and
FunFest; the group also promotes businesses though ribbon-cutting
and groundbreaking ceremonies and print and online resources, and
it honors local companies and entrepreneurs during its annual
awards banquet; and
WHEREAS, Over the past three decades, the Royse City Chamber
of Commerce has played an integral role in the growth and vitality
of the community, and the organization is indeed deserving of
recognition as it marks this special milestone in its history; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Royse
City Chamber of Commerce and extend to all those associated with the
organization sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the chamber as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
