 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Audrey La has ably served her fellow Texans as a
 policy analyst in the office of State Representative Gene Wu during
 the 88th Legislative Session; and
 WHEREAS, Since joining the staff through Baylor University's
 Bob Bullock Scholars Program, Ms. La has provided vital assistance
 in handling a wide variety of tasks, including monitoring
 committees and helping to write memos and talking points for bills;
 in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public
 service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the
 issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
 WHEREAS, In 2019, Ms. La graduated magna cum laude from the
 Ursuline Academy of Dallas, and at present, she is completing a
 psychology degree at Baylor through her studies in the Baylor
 Interdisciplinary Core Honors Program; actively involved in her
 campus community, she has served as president of Baylor's IGNITE
 National chapter, as a peer leader for the Department of
 Multicultural Affairs, and as a photographer for the student
 newspaper; following her graduation in May 2023, she plans to
 pursue a law degree; and
 WHEREAS, Audrey La has performed her duties as a policy
 analyst with skill and dedication, and she is indeed deserving of
 special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
 Legislature hereby commend Audrey La for her service as a policy
 analyst in the office of State Representative Gene Wu and extend to
 her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors;
 and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Ms. La as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 House of Representatives.
