R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Genyva Salas Monjaras was honored by the City of
Edcouch as part of the 2022 From the Delta, With Love ceremony; and
WHEREAS, The From the Delta, With Love program highlights
musicians and other artists who have contributed to the vibrant
culture of the Delta area; and
WHEREAS, Genyva Salas Monjaras is furthering an impressive
legacy of artistic achievement in the Lone Star State, and it is a
pleasure to join in recognizing her for her exceptional talent;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Genyva Salas Monjaras on being
honored at the 2022 From the Delta, With Love ceremony and extend to
her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Salas Monjaras as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
