R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, A deserving group of honorees was recognized as part
of the 2022 From the Delta, With Love ceremony hosted by the City of
Edcouch; and
WHEREAS, The From the Delta, With Love program highlights
musicians and other artists who have contributed to the vibrant
culture of the Delta area; and
WHEREAS, The honorees for the 2022 event included Genyva
Salas Monjaras, Juan Navarro Jr., Anna Marie Sanchez Varela, Anikka
Garza, Isaac Vidaurri, Krystalina Vallejo, Aldo Solis, Efrain
Solis, Adrian Solis, Oscar Solis, Lonnie Gonzalez and Carlos
Gonzales of Los Badd Boyz del Valle, Lucky Joe, Shane Ruiz, Norfilia
Layton Gonzalez, Oscar Layton Gonzalez, Rene, Tony, and Benny
Layton of Los Hermanos Layton, Javier, Jaime, and Eddie Gonzalez
and Arturo Alviar III of the Delta Boyz, Victor H. De La Cruz,
Roberto Pulido, Arturo Alviar Jr., Ruben De La Cruz, Rosendo
Beltran, David Vidaurri, Eddie Gonzalez, Epi Martinez, Cruz
Martinez, Benjamin Varela, Dino Cavasos, Delvis Cortez, Danny
Molina, Roel Flores, Wilfredo Contreras, Alejandro Mascorro Sr.,
Violanda Mascorro, Lupe Saenz Jr., Javiel Ruiz, Juan Colle,

Lawrence, Miguel Tinajero, Kerry, Kevin, and Anthony Ybarra of the
Valley Boyz, Omar Garcia, Felix Aleman, Esteban Jordan, Carlos
Arispe, Isaac Riojas, Noe Hernandez, Gilberto Hernandez, Alex
Comminos, Billy Gonzalez, and Randy Villarreal; and
WHEREAS, These outstanding Texans are furthering an
impressive legacy of artistic achievement in the Lone Star State,
and it is a pleasure to join in recognizing them for their
exceptional talent; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby commemorate the 2022 From the Delta, With Love
recognition ceremony and extend to the event's honorees sincere
best wishes for continued success in all their endeavors.
