R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Eloy Barrera Jr. of Uvalde, TX has served with
distinction as legislative staff in the Office of State
Representative Terry Meza, contributing his time, talents, and
expertise to serve the people of House District 105; and
WHEREAS, Eloy Barrera Jr. has been an invaluable asset to the
office, providing exceptional support to the State Representative
and working to aide constituents of the district; and
WHEREAS, Eloy Barrera Jr. has demonstrated outstanding
leadership and professionalism throughout his internship,
utilizing his excellent communication and interpersonal skills to
build positive relationships with colleagues, constituents, and
community partners; and
WHEREAS, Eloy Barrera Jr. is currently pursuing a Masters of
Arts in History with a minor in Political Science at Sul Ross State
University, where he has shown outstanding academic achievement and
a commitment to excellence; and
WHEREAS, Eloy Barrera Jr. is also serving as an intern for the
Mexican American Legislative Caucus, where he is gaining invaluable
experience and making significant contributions to the
organization; and
WHEREAS, Eloy Barrera Jr. has exemplified a strong work
ethic, a deep passion for public service, and an unwavering
commitment to making a difference in the lives of others, making him
an outstanding role model for his peers and a credit to his
community; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
commends Eloy Barrera Jr. for his contributions to the Office of
State Representative Terry Meza, his commitment to excellence, and
his professionalism; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Eloy Barrera Jr. as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
