R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Irene Ramos received a 2023 Women in Education Award
from the Education Service Center Region 2 at its Outstanding Women
in Education event on March 29; and
WHEREAS, Since 2018, Ms. Ramos has served as program manager
for ESC-2 Crossroads Adult Education and Literacy; passionate about
adult education and its positive impact in the community, she has
worked in that field for more than 25 years; and
WHEREAS, Irene Ramos has set an outstanding example of
leadership and dedication to which others may aspire, and she is
indeed deserving of this noteworthy honor; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Irene Ramos on her receipt of a
2023 Women in Education Award from the Education Service Center
Region 2 and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success
in her important work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Ramos as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
