H.R. No. 2209
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Toni Rahchelle Bryant has ably served her fellow
Texans as district director in the office of State Representative
Venton Jones during the 88th Legislature; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Bryant has played a vital role in managing
operations in Representative Jones's district office and in keeping
the Capitol office informed about constituent needs; during her
tenure, she has earned the appreciation of her colleagues through
her resourcefulness and initiative; and
WHEREAS, Admired for her civic engagement, Ms. Bryant serves
as a precinct chair for the Dallas County Democratic Party and as a
member of the County Executive Committee; she has also given of her
time and talents to a number of worthy organizations, including
Autism Speaks, Girl Scouts of the USA, and the African American
Museum of Dallas; and
WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her
duties as district director with skill and dedication, and she is
indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Toni Rahchelle Bryant for her service as
district director in the office of State Representative Venton
Jones and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in
all her endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Bryant as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
