R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Daniel Hernandez was named Entrepreneur of the Year
by the Round Rock Chamber at its annual awards banquet on
February 15, 2023; and
WHEREAS, Each year, the chamber recognizes local business and
nonprofit leaders for their outstanding efforts in behalf of the
Round Rock community; the Entrepreneur of the Year award honors an
individual who has built and sustained one or more businesses in
Round Rock while supporting the development of a strong
entrepreneurial ecosystem; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Hernandez is the CEO of First Crush Tastings,
and he owns Centro event space as well; moreover, he chairs the
chamber's Entrepreneurship Council, and he also gives back to his
community by mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs; and
WHEREAS, Daniel Hernandez has distinguished himself as a
business and civic leader of great vision and ability, and he is
indeed deserving of recognition for his contributions to the Round
Rock community; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Daniel Hernandez on his receipt of
the 2023 Entrepreneur of the Year award from the Round Rock Chamber
and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be
it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Hernandez as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
