H.R. No. 391
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The service of an admired Mason County official drew
to a close when Polly McMillan retired as county treasurer in
December 2022; and
WHEREAS, First taking office in January 1995, Ms. McMillan
served her fellow citizens with distinction throughout her notable
27-year tenure; and
WHEREAS, Through her dedicated leadership and commitment to
good governance, Polly McMillan has helped make Mason County an
even better place in which to live and work, and she has set a
standard of excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Polly McMillan for her service as Mason
County treasurer and extend to her sincere best wishes for the
future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. McMillan as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
