H.R. No. 395
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The service of an admired Real County official drew
to a close when Donna Brice retired as tax assessor-collector on
December 31, 2020; and
WHEREAS, First taking office on January 4, 1979, Ms. Brice
served her fellow citizens with distinction throughout her notable
41-year tenure; and
WHEREAS, Through her dedicated leadership and commitment to
good governance, Donna Brice has helped make Real County an even
better place in which to live and work, and she has set a standard of
excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Donna Brice for her service as Real
County tax assessor-collector and extend to her sincere best wishes
for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Brice as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
