H.R. No. 432
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Adelaido O. Salinas is retiring from the Internal
Revenue Service of the United States Department of the Treasury on
March 31, 2023; and
WHEREAS, First hired by the IRS in 1985, Mr. Salinas has
carried out his duties with distinction for nearly 38 years; prior
to joining the agency, he served in the United States Navy for more
than a decade, and he continued his service as a member of the Naval
Reserve for over 14 years until his retirement in 1997; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Salinas is a graduate of Pan American
University, and he completed his education at The University of
Texas-Pan American, where he earned a master's degree in business
administration; in all his endeavors, he enjoys the love and
support of a fine family that includes his wife, Miranda, and his
daughter, Melissa; and
WHEREAS, With his professionalism, dedication, and
commitment to excellence, Adelaido Salinas has earned the respect
and admiration of his colleagues, and he may indeed reflect with
pride on his exemplary record of service as he begins the next
exciting chapter of his life; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Adelaido O. Salinas on his
retirement from the Internal Revenue Service and extend to him
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Salinas as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
