 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, All who shared in the life of Matilda Aleman Jasso of
 Corpus Christi were deeply saddened by her passing on October 16,
 2022, at the age of 55; and
 WHEREAS, The former Matilda Aleman was born on December 29,
 1966, to Daniel Aleman Sr. and Guadalupe Salazar Aleman; and
 WHEREAS, In 1989, she married Reynaldo Jasso, and the couple
 went on to share a fulfilling union that spanned more than 33 years;
 she took great pride in her two sons, Reynaldo and Manuel; and
 WHEREAS, Throughout her marriage, Mrs. Jasso dedicated
 herself to her family and her home, and she could often be found
 volunteering at her children's schools and supporting them in their
 extracurricular activities; in her leisure time, she enjoyed
 crafting and decorating her home for the holidays; and
 WHEREAS, Although Matilda Jasso is deeply missed, memories of
 her kindness and joyful laughter remain to comfort and inspire
 those she leaves behind, and they will forever hold her close in
 their hearts; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Matilda Aleman Jasso
 and extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her
 husband, Reynaldo Jasso Sr.; to her sons, Reynaldo Jasso Jr. and
 Manuel Jesus Jasso; to her siblings, Thelma Lopez and her husband,
 Louis, Lesbia Aleman, Senona Fernandez, and Daniel Aleman Jr. and
 his wife, Anna; to her aunt, Daria Altamirano; to her godson,
 Nicholas Fernandez; and to her many other relatives and friends;
 and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Matilda
 Aleman Jasso.
