R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Teresa Wilks has earned great distinction with her
outstanding service as principal of Alfonso Borrego Sr. Elementary
in the San Elizario Independent School District; and
WHEREAS, Demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the
students, faculty, and staff of Alfonso Borrego Sr. Elementary,
Ms. Wilks has led the way in fostering a supportive and challenging
educational environment on campus; and
WHEREAS, A quality education is critical to the continuing
vitality of our state, and Teresa Wilks is playing an instrumental
role in helping students to reach their full potential and become
engaged and productive members of their community; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Teresa Wilks for her contributions as
principal of Alfonso Borrego Sr. Elementary and extend to her
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Wilks as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
