R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Barbara Flores has earned great distinction with her
outstanding service as principal of W. D. Surratt Elementary School
in the Clint Independent School District; and
WHEREAS, Demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the
students, faculty, and staff of W. D. Surratt Elementary School,
Ms. Flores has led the way in fostering a supportive and
challenging educational environment on campus; and
WHEREAS, A quality education is critical to the continuing
vitality of our state, and Barbara Flores is playing an
instrumental role in helping students to reach their full potential
and become engaged and productive members of their community; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Barbara Flores for her contributions as
principal of W. D. Surratt Elementary School and extend to her
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Flores as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
