H.R. No. 904 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, David Stolle is concluding his service to the Plano Independent School District Board of Trustees in 2023; and WHEREAS, A former student of Plano ISD, Mr. Stolle has represented Place 5 on the school board for 12 years, and he was elected to his third term in 2019; over the course of his tenure, he served as vice president of the board for three years and as board president for two years; and WHEREAS, Mr. Stolle joined Jackson Walker LLP in 2001, and he currently serves as a partner with a national practice focused on commercial and real estate finance; he holds a bachelor's degree in English from Texas A&M University, a master's degree in English from The University of Texas at Tyler, and a law degree from St. Mary's University School of Law; among his many achievements, he was honored as a Texas Rising Star by Thomson Reuters in 2010; and WHEREAS, Deeply dedicated to his community, Mr. Stolle has served as a member of the parent-teacher associations at Jackson Elementary School, Frankford Middle School, Shepton High School, and Plano West Senior High School along with his wife, Cristy, and all three of their children are Plano ISD alums; prior to attending law school, he taught English at a high school in Palestine for four years; and WHEREAS, Through his unwavering commitment to public education, David Stolle has greatly benefited Plano ISD students, and his contributions will resonate in the community for years to come; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas Legislature hereby commend David Stolle for his service to the Plano Independent School District and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Stolle as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
