 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, A full and generous life drew to a close with the
 passing of Maria Elisa Gracia Sanchez of Robstown on March 1, 2023,
 at the age of 91; and
 WHEREAS, The daughter of Matias Gracia and Eva Suarez Gracia,
 the former Maria Elisa Gracia was born in Kenedy on July 1, 1931,
 and she grew up with the companionship of three siblings, Martin,
 Mario, and Luis; she was employed as a cook for the Robstown
 Independent School District and retired after a decade of dedicated
 service; through the years, she was a loyal and passionate
 supporter of the Robstown High School sports teams; and
 WHEREAS, Mrs. Sanchez shared a rewarding marriage with
 Rosendo Sanchez Sr. until the time of his passing, and they became
 the parents of seven children, Rosendo, Elsa, Pete, Robert, Maria,
 Ricardo, and Raul, who preceded his mother in death; Mrs. Sanchez
 was further blessed with 12 grandchildren and 8
 great-grandchildren, and she treasured her role as the loving
 matriarch of her family; and
 WHEREAS, Maria Elisa Sanchez lived a caring and purposeful
 life, and she will forever be remembered with great admiration and
 affection by all who held her close to their hearts; now, therefore,
 be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Maria Elisa Gracia
 Sanchez and extend deepest sympathy to the members of her family: to
 her children, Rosendo Sanchez Jr. and his wife, Debbie, Elsa
 Sanchez, Pete Sanchez and his wife, Flora, Robert Sanchez and his
 wife, Denise, Maria "Loly" Carrion and her husband, Abel, and
 Ricardo Sanchez and his wife, Nelda; to her grandchildren, Ryan,
 Aaron, Ricky, AJ, Sarah, Rudy, Kelly, Austin, Mariah, Victor,
 Taylor, and Noah; to her great-grandchildren; and to her other
 relatives and friends; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Maria Elisa
 Sanchez.
