It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill would be insignificant, including any impact on state correctional populations or on the demand for state correctional resources resulting from the Class B misdemeanor offense that would be created by the bill.  Local Government ImpactThe fiscal implications of the bill to the district cannot be determined due to the circumstances of the district's administration and operation being unknown. It is assumed that any fiscal impact to units of local government associated with enforcement, prosecution, supervision, or confinement of the misdemeanor offense would not be significant.
