The bill would amend sections of the Government Code relating to a state employment preference for certain spouses of veterans with a disability.Based on the analysis of the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) and the Texas Veterans Commission (TVC), it is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.
